Vegetarian diet in adolescents: An aberration
The veganismo (the exclusion of all food from animal origin) and the vegetarianism generally are full of problems, are a like strainer with holes. A philosophy vegana is far from which it means the good nutritional health, and following supposes it a risk that has serious consequences. In addition in adolescents, the risks are pronounced.
The vegana diet or strict vegetarian supposes the exclusion of all food that has an animal origin, is nutritionally deficient. But we do not radicalize ourselves, we think about less extreme vegetarian diets, which accepts the egg consumption or the diet that admits eggs and milk.
When we are speaking of adolescents we are speaking of people who need a very important consumption of nutrients for their suitable development, and excluding foods as the red meats or the milky ones. Although the vegetarian diet can prevent many cardiovascular diseases or cancers like the one with colon, prostate and breasts, it is a fact that does not stop generating diverse nutritional problems that can cause the appearance of other long term diseases in the individual.
For this reason, independent of your ideology, nourishing preferences or political connection, take care of your son, who surely is much more important than your tastes and preferences.
