Help your child overcome the fear of dogs

Living with a pet is stimulating and suitable for the little ones, teach them to relate to and communicate differently. But it happens often but we want to have a pet, the little they have fear of animals, especially dogs, then what can we do to not suffer from this phobia?
This fear big dogs usually appear between two to three years, which is the age at which children are already able to understand that some animals can hurt them, but it can not differentiate what and what not.
For example, if your child suffers every time he sees a dog: do not ridicule or laugh at their fear, that would make you feel misunderstood. You show that you do not frighten the dogs.
After they see the dog is good to explain that animals communicate in different ways, if the queue is moving because they are happy if you lick your hand is like you give a "kiss".
A good way to help your child to overcome the fear of dogs is to show that other children play with them. Ideally get one caress.

But to be encouraged and can approach a dog, we will give here some tips to show your child that dogs can be great friends:

* For your child near a dog for the first time it is best to choose a quiet dog, known to be of some familiar or neighbor.
* The dog owner must be present. First you get closer to the dog, and then let the child will imitate.
* Do not force him to play it but want to, but invite him to come even taking your hand.

You should probably repeat this "process" several times, but eventually you'll see how the child will lose the fear and learn to live any other way with animals.
